The Performance

AND this is just completely different than anything i submit, but bear with me here...

well i guess the only way i can possibly get SOME of my ideas out to actual be visual is to draw them really simplistically and really vector-y and really really not detailed. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL IN MY HEAD GDI *sobs

basically tho, this is based off of my favorite teacher, my orchestra teacher, because he is so accomplished and so talented and just about famous int he world of music, but his favorite thing to do is teach little kids how to play instruments and he just has a soft spot for them and he loves to teach music even when he could be performing solos in huge concert halls every day, he teaches at multiple schools and multiple symphonies every day. anyway, so i went to my little sister's performance because she has him now, and there were just tons of little children playing the most basic songs, and this teacher was just so happy about it all and he was so excited and it just about made me cry when i saw him start playing along with a much more complicated version of the same song and be excited about it. the lights and atmosphere were perfect and the kids were so cute and it just really touched me to see that and thats when i had this brilliant vision in my head of an amazing painting lighted with stage lights and show him among the kids playing along.

i made a PIECE OF CRAP. just uuggghhhhhh



but i really tried to get the thought down... i just seriously cant make myself go slowly and detail everything it just ITS IMPOSSIBLE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. so when i have these ideas i guess the best thing is to just draw the most simple version of it POSSIBLE making it look like a stupid vector picture with like 5 layers and call it art. GDI >.<


despite how horrible this is, i hope you can share in my emotions toward this sweet guy, lover of music and best teacher in the world.
